Fun, engaging lessons for beginners and developing Musicians

How I Teach

‍ ‍My teaching approach is rooted in the way I first learned piano myself—through encouragement, strong fundamentals, and a love for music. I believe every student learns best in an environment that feels supportive, engaging, and enjoyable. My lessons are designed to build confidence while introducing the core foundations of piano and music theory in a way that feels natural and approachable.

I focus on making piano lessons fun without sacrificing structure. Learning music should never feel intimidating or overwhelming. Instead, I guide students step-by-step, helping them progress at their own pace while developing a strong understanding of rhythm, technique, note reading, and musical expression.

My goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating their growth. I move away from rigid, high-pressure instruction and instead encourage curiosity, creativity, and a genuine connection to music.

In addition to weekly lessons, I incorporate age-appropriate supplemental activities that extend learning beyond the piano bench. These may include literature, technology, visual arts, and creative exercises that help students stay inspired and engaged. By blending traditional piano education with creativity and exploration, I aim to help young musicians not only learn piano—but truly enjoy the process.
